I am Estella Sawitzki, and I was born in 2007. I didn’t start writing out of boredom – but out of the will to survive. Words became my lifeline when much of my life was dark. My first book "Schattenkind - Mein Weg ins Licht" is not a novel, but a testimony. It tells of abuse, bullying, inner struggles for survival – and the courage to keep going nonetheless. I wrote it to survive. And I published it to encourage others. I am not a professional author with a publisher – but a young woman who has learned to speak for herself. My story is raw, genuine, and not sugar-coated. Today, I want to encourage and support others. I believe that every shadow child has the right to light.
